A young child had a moment, as is want to happen with children, of intense fear. The fear did not come from catching a glimpse of the unknown, or potential danger; these things usually derive from the accumulated knowledge of mature adults… ...it was very much the raw and palpable energy of intense emotion, in this case, from a sudden disruption of their happy-go-lucky status quo. Nevertheless, the new cat which the family adopted and had scared the child had since gone to the living room, giving the adults time to reassure the little one. Once the child was taught how to feed the cat, both developed a wonderful relationship with each other.
