A young couple decided to go to a concert on a Friday evening when they could have time to enjoy each other’s company. The only problem was deciding on which show to see; the guy certainly was a typical “guy” desiring a decidedly tougher and rougher musical experience, while the girl was more cultured, wanting to see a musical. Seeing both would obviously be too much, so both parties endeavored to persuade each other of the virtues of their choice. They both gave impassioned arguments fighting for their individual cause. The tenets and axioms of established oratory and rhetoric since time immemorial were used with great fervor and gusto, ...so much that they eventually realized they had been debating so long, both shows were halfway finished. This gave the couple a great chuckle at the ridiculous situation, yet they had realized that their passionate debate was more than enough entertainment for the two of them. Afterwards, they decided to take a stroll in the pleasant night air. Passing through the city center, they gave a busking guitarist a few dollars for his trouble.
