That Which Awaits

Volition is for the men and women who have nowhere to go and nothing to see, yet still want to see the sights.

The fact that you want to go out into the great beyond and do something will inevitably be your downfall.

You are wanting what you actually have which is contentment.

You also want excitement, yet to have excitement you must also have fear.

The question is, of course, 

what will you choose?

What do you want?

Most people don't know what they want, they only grope at the nearest thing.

Introspection is the answer to all problems. In knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt who or what you are, your feelings, your desires, the choice will always be clear.

From that standpoint, you will truly have the freedom to do whatever you want.

You might also see as a consequence, your desires changing; you might not have the same enjoyment for the things that you used to live for.

You might even find that the particular people that you hung out with to be unsavory and distance yourself from them.

This is not a thing to worry about. Of course, you will not be worrying when you reach that point; all hesitation will have been in the past.

Concerning yourself only with what awaits.
