So you're going on a capital-S "Spiritual Journey", eh?
Well send me a postcard when you get there.
..."I" know where you're goin'
...but you don't.
How is it that you are going on a Spiritual Journey and you don't even know where you're going?
or that "I" have that knowledge and you don't even?
If no one has told you by now, or you haven't figured it out for yourself, let me give it to you here:
You can have any experience that you want.
You can enter into any state that you want.
(I think somebody on this site said just that.)
[I'll try my best to find the link and put it here, but as a bit of free pub. I'll just tell you to look around this site for it. You might even find something cool you weren't expecting.]
But back to the point,
How is it that you haven't even done just a little bit of introspection to find out what you want?
Isn't that like the first thing the guys with the robes and the hair tell you?
I don't mean to go on you,
It's just that this whole scene is dangerous.
You might think why that is?
You have the potential to drop a bombshell that will destroy everything around you.
It can even destroy "you" if you're not careful.
But if you are "careful" you won't be destroyed.
Though you will be destroyed if you are careless.
Obviously same goes for anything else. If you are careless to the point where you stick a pair of scissors into an electrical outlet, you can fill in the blanks.
The Spiritual Journey will wind up killing everything you know and love...
So why do you feel so compelled to go on it?
Something bigger than yourself is working.
Which is interesting since that thing that is bigger than you "is" you.
You will reach your destination when you reconcile the differences between yourself and everything else.
Of course things will never be the same...
...but they will be "always".
