On a particularly nice day, a man decided to take a load off and sit down on a park bench.

There were only a few other people there, all of them doing more or less the same thing; all enjoying themselves for at least a part of the day even if was not to last for the rest of the day.

Aside from a few quiet squirrels and a couple of leashed dogs, the animal life was also sparse, but like everyone else, no one was in a particular hurry to do one thing or the other.

The man glanced down and saw a yellow butterfly on a dandelion and watched it for a while.

Instead of fluttering around from flower to flower and bush to bush, the butterfly only took one flower out of the multitude of options, and stood there.

It sat motionless.

If it did anything else, it would have been out of place.
